Carrie is currently a medical student at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She graduated with a degree in microbiology and a minor in anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis in May of 2018.
The David Lloyd Foundation has been an amazing experience for Carrie! She has traveled to Rwanda three times as a member of discovery and teaching missions. Carrie is passionate about aiding underserved communities. She loves interacting with the vibrant people of Rwanda and helping to improve health care in Gisenyi.
Lisa is currently a registered nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, WA. Lisa grew up in rural Illinois and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. She has worked as a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Nurse and an Intensive Care Unit nurse at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois and Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford, Oregon.
Lisa is passionate about family, education, music, traveling and gardening. Her support to the David Lloyd Foundation is to honor Dave’s memory — especially of providing education and medical care to all.
